Mission Opportunities

We offer the following ministry opportunities for you to share God's love with the world.

Here is a description of some of the programs and events that we host.

Church members meet monthly to pray for missionaries serving around the world, learn more about international, national and local missions and collect items for local mission activities.

Food Pantry

A pantry of food and other household items is maintained for those who have a need. Please consider picking up a few extra items on your next trip to the grocery store to donate.

Feeding the 5000

Feeding the 5000 is dedicated to feeding the hungry in our community on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in volunteering, we will provide training for you to help prepare and serve meals, greet guests and to pray with guests as needs arise. Read our weekly report to see where you can help.

Free Store

The Free Store provides free clothing and bedding to those in need. We need donations of clean, gently used clothing and bedding. We especially need socks. No stained or torn items please.

Tidewater Transportation Ministries

WBBC partners with other local churches to provide toiletries, internet access, phone access, Bibles and other necessities to the seafarers and truckers of the Portsmouth Marine Terminal.
