Recommendations from Our Church Family:

90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper

Our adult Sunday School Class has just finished studying in Revelation, and while we were doing this study I checked out the book, 90 Minutes in Heaven, by Don Piper, from the WBBC library.  This retelling of how god worked in Don's life, and answering Don's question of, "After being in heaven, why would God send him back to earth, just to suffer from excruciating pain from the car accident he survived?"  To find out the answer to this and hear Don explain what he observed in Heaven, check out this great book!   Recommended by Kelly Forrester

If you have read a book, or something in particular from the church library has touched your heart and you would like to share it with others, please contact a member of the library committee.

The Purpose Driven Life - by Rick Warren

"What on earth am I here for?" "What is my purpose?" Those questions confront each one of us. According to Rick Warren, author of the award-winning Purpose-Driven Church, the answer is found in God. Real meaning and significance comes from understanding and fulfilling God's plan for us on earth. The Purpose-Driven Life takes the message of The Purpose-Driven Church and shows us how to apply it to our individual lives. By first understanding God's plan for our lives, we can then see the big picture of what life is all about and begin to live the life God had in mind for us. Written in a devotional style, The Purpose-Driven Life is divided into 40 short chapters that can be read as a daily devotional, or  studied in small groups.
